My dad said that he thought that, since I’ve had a girlfriend, the quantity and quality of my posts has declined. I am inclined to agree, but I doubt that it’s related to her. Somehow over the last year and a half I got myself some friends and so it’s really that I’m just not sitting around my room by myself anymore (which is pretty much all I did freshman year. It made for great blogging but poor everything else).
That last sentence was poorly written. I’m sorry if you had to read it twice to garner meaning from it. My friend (yeah, see?) let me borrow this book about punctuation and now I can’t stop analyzing everything I’m doing for grammatical clarity. I don’t really care about being correct, per se, but I do care about being consistent and about being clear. (ref. this)
I’m drinking a unit of Livewire right now. Longtime readers will remember a post that I put up a long time ago about this particular beverage and its effects on the soul. If you look at that website, apparently other people felt that way too.
Okay. It’s time for literature class. Because I love poetry?

That’s the nice thing about college…it becomes easy to always find something to do. Freshman year, for some reason, I was always logged onto aim, and all of my friends in the dorms were too, and rather than call each other, we figured things out on aim, sitting in our different dorm rooms talking rather than gathering together like normal people.
Now my computer is actually turned off more than it is on, because I actually go out and do things (part of mine is definitely the boyfriend though), plus the added gain of saving electricity and thus money.
So I never update, but I still get frustrated when I do go on the computer and find that no one else *coughEric!* has updated either.
But why, oh why, are you taking a literature class if you’re a comp sci major?? So that you can later help develop a new blue screen of death, and on it will be a little limerick to display your awesomely useless skills you learned in poetry class?? Maybe I’m just too used to the all math science/no liberal arts curriculum now….

Yeah. I have to take a certain amount of English, Humanities, and Social Science credits. I’m in a philosophy class too…
