I just got done studying communications networks for a few hours. I’ve got a test tomorrow, and, if you wanted me to, I could tell you all about cyclic redundancy checks or Hamming codes (which are actually pretty cool) or even CDMA (which is really cool… cellphones anyone?). I’m sure you don’t want to hear about any of that, though, so I’ll spare you the gory details and just say that I got a 43% on my last test in this class because I neglected to study. It is for this reason that I have invested so much time, hoping against hope that I’ll get a good enough grade because this is a required class.

The room here is getting quite festive. There’s all sort of Halloweenish lights and pumpkins along with gothic techno (perfect for that industrial vampire rave that I’m not going to have). I’d post you a picture but pictures don’t do it justice, and besides, the USB cable is really far away.

I turn 21 on Thursday. My buddy is taking me downtown to a brewery. Should be a good time. I’m looking forward to finding out what all this fuss is about. I’m also looking forward to going to ultralounges with my roommate. Yes, soon I will be drinking martinis and listening to deep house while speaking of, for example, high culture and art. Wait, no, that other thing… printing technology and the relative benefits of laser versus inkjet. This, my friend, is how I want to spend my Friday nights. No wild parties for me, thanx, I’ve never been there and, frankly, I never want to enter that scene. I don’t want to get hammered, and I don’t want to get trashed, and I don’t want to have to have a drink before I can have a good time. I enjoy my life quite well right now without alcohol and I’ve seen it consume people (just like I’ve seen this consume people), so… shoot, I forgot where I was going with that. If anywhere. I’ll… uh, well, I’ll just leave now, and get back to my Sim City addiction.

Mmmmm…. my girlfriend just called me and it made my day.

Yay! I’m glad I made your day! Next time I go to ghetto taco bell make sure I take you with me! You could write a whole post on that place, I made a fool of myself trying to climb over my console to get my food, my knee hit my steering wheel and set off my horn…

You guys have a fall formal??? Crazy…
Though I’ve heard that we used to have a homecoming dance about 10 years ago…but people voted to use that money for research instead, so that tradition ended… freakin nerd school! >.

Nice lip bling! Martini’s are slightly underrated as to their hammering potential-Basically a drink involving mixing alcohols together with tiny shards of ice an’ putting it in a glass-Each one is like two or three shots-Just a snootier way of slamming drinks-And the lounges get boring. Anyway, I need to go have a beer an’ a shot so I can start my day…

So when are you hitting up this brewery, and are you privvy to others attending this momentous occasion to garner in the next chapter of your life, and also have one more person to make sure you don’t have to pay on your first night out.

I shall take you to an excellent brewery next time you’re in the CO for more than a few days. Nothing spells fun more than “F” “R” “E” “E”.

Hmm so I just realized that for some reason it cut off some of my comment….

Essentially, I was trying to tell you that I think you guys are adorable in that picture!
