Well, it’s after Thanksgiving, and that means putting up lights! Hooray, I love Christmas lights! I would leave them up all year but that would detract from their specialness. The great thing about lights is that they’re so cheap you can afford to buy a LOT of them, which means that you will be generating enough light to read by. We also broke out the stockings which go on the shelf around our TV, and the manger scene which goes on our knick-knack shelf over the TV. Oh, and the tree. It has a truly ridiculous number of ornaments.

Speaking of Christmas music, I was saddened yesterday when I found out that somehow I had deleted one of my favorite Christmas albums, Christmas Remixed. I searched my hard drive high and low for it and in the end concluded that I must have accidentally removed it during some kind of hard drive reorganization. It sucks, too, cause I bought it on iTunes and once it’s gone, you sure can’t get it back… so I just had to go buy it again. I have about 3 gigs of music downloaded from the store; it would likely be prudent to make a backup.

It has been heinously warm in Nebraska thus far, so I’m glad it’s finally getting cold outside. Not that I have any great love for cold weather, in fact, you could probably say that I like warm weather. But ’tis the season.

I can’t wait to go crazy with Christmas lights. I have never really done that but have had a strong urge to this year!

That sucks on the lost files, they really need to implement a system for being able to redownload something you have already purchased, sadly this is one thing that microsoft has done right, alright I need to go take a shower now because I feel dirty……
