Somebody got a cold around here, I don’t know who. But this… person… proceeded to spread it to every other person in this complex. I understand that all of building G was down with it last week, and it’s been raging unchecked like a meme around my building. I forced myself into a quarantine in my room this weekend while I was in the midst of the fugue associated with colds, I slept dang near all weekend long. You see, if other people would do forced self-quarantination, we might not have this plague on our hands. Instead, somebody decided to sneeze all over somebody else, and now we’re all victims to an epidemic of only slightly less proportion than that one we’re all familiar with. With the advent of modern technology, one would quickly come to the conclusion that someone smart, by now, would have come out with some form of cure. I mean, look, it’s only reasonable, right? If we can put people on the moon, surely we can find a cure for a disease that strikes no less than every single person on our planet?
No one has an answer, though. There have been remedies purported through the ages, you can Google for them because I’m too lazy to provide you with that link (and besides, you all have that Google search bar built in to your browser). The best we can come up with at this point is “Sleep as much as you can… drink lots of water… and, uh, I don’t know, maybe don’t have any sugar? Maybe.” But that’s stuff that any moron can figure out. I demand that somebody smart figure out what stinkin’ injection to give me, or what pill I need to take, or what mold I need ingest, to just make this thing go away.
I believe that I hate Radiohead (and associated bands like Muse) more than any other band I’ve ever hated before. Their music is the worst quality crap I’ve ever heard. Bar none.
UPDATE: I do, however, like Bob Marley. And who doesn’t?

Yes, I do. And I try really, really hard.
