In the past week, I have spent quite a bit of time with my family; the chief reason is that there are precious few other people here to interact with. Most of the events surrounding these people I will not relate to you, either because you do not care or because you are one of said individuals and you are already familiar with the haps. I never intended this blog to be about the dietary needs of my cat but it seems that is perhaps what it’s turned into (actually, I never intended to have a blog at all except that it just sorta happened. ‘Member those days when it was just website updates and new pictures? Whoo-ee, that was a long time ago). At any rate, I have received demands for pictures (as well as a new post, from multiple sources), and because I am a slave to you, my readership, these are demands that simply will not go unmet any longer. I wanted to write a fancy WordPress plugin to automatically generate the following gallery, but as it turned out it was actually more work to write the software than to just manually do the whole thing. A basic understanding of economics, however, tells me that while the plugin may be more work up front, the marginal cost per gallery is indescribably lower, whereas building each gallery by hand is quite costly.

I’m not sure why I wrote all that. In all probability it was quite boring for you to read. As a side note (and also as filler to flesh out this paragraph), I find my own writing very difficult to read. As in, it is hard to parse the words for meaning. Do you find it the same way? Please let me know. Okay, the promised gallery:

The Brothers Four Brother Danny and El Charlito (The Destroyer) Myself and Brother Steve at the Metropolitan
Brothers Danny and Steve doing… something terrible “Did you fart?”
“No. Did you?”
“No.” *looks down slowly*
*looks down slowly*
Brother Greg on the Blackberry
Brother Steve at the Metro

Uhmm… oh yeah. On Friday last, one of the brothers and myself went to the local upscale shi-shi dance club. Do not be mistaken, it is not nearly as sex-oriented as that site makes it seem, in fact, it’s really pretty misleading. Which is not to say, of course, that it’s not a meat market; it is (but what dance club isn’t? That’s not why I go anyway). What a cool place, ten bucks is sure worth it to get in. I won’t recount any of the adventures because, again, you are either already familiar with them or you just don’t care, but let me say this: My brother’s friend commented that he had “never seen two people dance that funky in my life.”

Oh, also, I got a new car. Some of you were aware that my beloved T-Bird blew a head gasket and the decision was made not to revive her, a decision that broke my heart. I will always miss the feel of your steering wheel, the way your gas pedal moved… everything about you, really. I will miss waking up to your smell in the mornings. My new car is a 1997 Honda Prelude, red. With a 5-speed VTEC engine, it is on fire. That is to say, it brings the heat until you’re soakin’ in your sleep. There is actually a fairly humorous story involving this car and us on the way back from Eden, but never you mind about that. I was questioned about the name of this car, and as I had never named my beloved Thunderbird, and I only just recently named my plant, I feel it necessary to name this guy. I will be taking suggestions in the comments.

Alright, I’m done. That’s that for you so demand of me no longer, the updates!

b.) why did we not have a hallway dance party before the end of the year?

Ugh. We didn’t! I don’t know why. It’s too bad. Well, we’ll just have to rectify that situation next year!

look, I don’t know how to say this, but I don’t want pictures of your people, I want pictures of your possessions; cars and the like would do nicely. okay, okay, so it was ‘nice’ seeing your genetic variations, they seem fun. but it is true that you have already taken experimental pictures of your car in light, dark, motion, rest, wierd angles, etc, I am almost sure of it. so please, aid my appellative ruminations, and pixelize me.

I would have to go with the name Reese, being that you are a FIF fan, the car is coming from CO, and it’s just a cool name, at least I think, but I am sure that there are better, but I am the first to input my……………..well input.

Hmm… Angela had suggested Tim, which I like. But Reese is a pretty good name too. I can’t fault your reasoning there. And thank you, Dan, for being the first one to actually give a suggestion.

Wow, you truly are the prettiest member of your brood. And all along I thought that, you know, you might just be a genetic malfeasance. The mind ponders and reels.

MMMMMMMMM, missed the part about the naming of the car. How about Howard? Or Edible.

I must suggest that since it is a Japanese vehicle you must give it a japanese name….like Takheshi.

Or Kami….short for kamikaze…which means Divine Wind.
