So, I’m here. I made it (my flight was, over the course of six hours, delayed for six hours). The condos we are staying in are amazing – it’s actually right on the edge of a golf course. I am broadcasting to you now from the country club at said golf course, a short walk from my living arrangements. What you need to know is that I don’t, and most likely won’t, have any internet there for the summer so I’ll be making frequent jaunts over here, to this bench in this hallway. Also from work. But it’s like being held incommunicado.

My roommate and I (soon there will be four more, but for now it’s just him and me) just spent $105.27 at the Wally World “Neighborhood Market”, which is essentially just a Wal-Mart branded grocery store. We bought the essentials, like ramen and soap.

Anyway, I’m taking lots of pictures, some of which I’ll post here for your viewing displeasure. Mostly I just want to make Dwight feel bad about how terrible his quarters were on project, and how snazzy mine are. Uhm, what else… it’s really hot here, terribly muggy. On Thursday we’re going to Disneyworld… Saturday the beach…. and then Monday we start work at 8 in the unholy morning. How are we college kids supposed to stay up late if they make us start work so early? I’m going to be very tired this summer, especially since they plan an activity for just about every spare moment, so I’ll have very little free time. I’m probably more sorry about that than you are.

Alright, well. I’ll talk to you later. Goodbye.

the answer to your query, sir, is that you must NEVER sleep. or, at least be accustomed to getting about 4 or 5 hours a night. it’s rough, but i’m sure you can manage it for 10 weeks. anyway, try to enjoy your perfect beach-filled summer as i wallow in self pitty over this undesired atmosphere that has doomed me to remain as this poor, pasty soul.

You can sleep when the hurricanes start coming.

By sleep I do mean “evacuate”.

Mmm, evacuation. So now I’m logged onto some random network in the parking lot. I walked around for about fifteen minutes scoping the complex for signals (“warwalking”, if you will. And I think you will) and found one that’s good enough. I wish I could set up a repeater so I could get it in my condo.

Man, I was out of wireless down here at Kimberly’s for about three weeks. I was driving around downtown looking for open networks. People are getting smarter about locking them down, but not everyone.

Heh. Warwalking.

Hehehe . . . I know this pretains to nothing . . . except super-cool D&D, but, yeah . . . Almornisqua is on the rampage again, and man, I have no clue as to what he is and what his motives are . . . I do think you should glance at the forums of SOS.com, to see the latest adventure so I don’t have to recap it all here and have everyone make fun of you for playing D&D . . . if you can get to some internet that is . . .
Otherwise, have a good time e-nizzle and I will keep you updated on the progress of my supa’ rizzzaps

let me know what you think Almornisqua should be/do/be involved in

Dwight’s a wuss. It’s flipping beautiful here right now. And the digs aren’t that bad, but I’m not in the bungalo. And we have internet. Sweet, sweet internet. It’s glorious. Hope you’re having a great time.
